The Fouga is a subsonic military jet aircraft that was designed in France in the early 1950s. Its creators, Castello and Mauboussin, are at the origin of the acronym CM included in the name. It was still in use at the beginning of the 21st century.
The Fouga CM-170 is easily recognizable thanks to its V-tail, called "Butterfly" and the distinctive hiss of its reactors which is heard during aerial shows.
This aircraft was adopted by the French aerobatic's team and was used for acrobatic prowess for twenty-four years, from 1956 to 1980.
Always looking for legendary aircraft available, we successfully acquired an iconic V shaped vertical stabilizer from a Fouga CM-170 to create a stunning set of Limited Edition of Aircraft Skin Keychains.
This series features engraving on one side and our artisans crafted only 49 pieces. We’ve engraved the inner side of the vertical stabilizer, leaving intact the outer part, where the reflective strip is located. This strip gives a magnificent look once the patina appears.
These Aircraft Skin Keychains were cut from the V-shaped vertical stabilizer of a Fouga CM-170 Magister. This airplane component changes according to flight and storage conditions.

One-sided series: We cut out the shape of the keychain from the vertical stabilizer with the visual strip and engrave one side (the inner side) to leave the outer side featuring the strip intact, which will develop a beautiful patina over time. The engraved side is the back (inside part) of light green color. This primed layer, which is not intended to be on the outside, will quickly fade away, revealing the natural color of the aluminum.
